The Protestant church ruin of Podelzig is the former village church of the municipality of Podelzig in the Märkisch-Oderland district in Brandenburg. The parish belongs to the Oderland-Spree deanery of the Evangelical Church Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. The church was built in the Middle Ages in Alt Podelzig. This village was first documented in 1354 as Podolzig, Podultz and initially belonged to the Margrave in the mentioned year, and in 1354 came into the possession of the Bishop of Lebus. The Brandenburg State Office for Monument Preservation and Archaeological State Museum (BLDAM) gives the year around 1430 as the time of origin, however, a total of four parish hufen (a historical land measure) have already been recorded from the year 1405 (also from 1460).

From here, five bridges over the Oder River, about two kilometers away, were clearly visible.
