This structure, known as the "Land Bridge," is the prefabricated and not yet assembled replacement of the Hennigsdorf road bridge. Because of its blue color, the replacement bridge is also known as the "(New) Blue Wonder of Hennigsdorf."

OK, of course, the highlight is actually the "Hennigsdorf Havel Bridge." But seeing the replacement structure standing on the fairgrounds is an experience in itself. The bridge is expected to be installed in the fall of 2025, initially as a temporary bridge next to the current one. Information about this can be found here: https://www.maz-online.de/lokales/oberhavel/hennigsdorf/hennigsdorf-ersatzneunbau-fuer-havelbruecke-auftrag-ist-vergeben-GOC6MKIDWVGZNENI2ES7BWN2SE.html Hopefully, I'll be there when the bridge is transported.

It looks very dilapidated at the moment. A replacement bridge has been standing next to it for some time. We'll see when it's installed. It's easy to walk across and has a beautiful view of the water.
