Great view here, with the disadvantage that there is hardly any forest left.

Nice, clean rest area with a wastepaper basket. Next to it is a small pond with a preserved stone border.

Well room with entrance hood made of strong granite masonry, closed with a simple wooden slatted door and wooden bolt, scientific-documentary evidence of earlier country life, rare. Well room located in the middle of the village, flanked by oak and chestnut trees at the northern foot of the Mehlteuer. Entrance 160 cm high, 115 cm wide, eleven steps deep, water stands up to the upper step and then runs off into a small ditch below the door. Lower foot of the room driven into standing rock. Walls made of rubble stone (part of the drainage pit chiseled into standing granite stock, room itself lined with granite stones). Three iron fittings. Water flow from a spring south of the room is very strong. At a height of about 4 m, water seeps through the brick wall across the entire width of the well (about 2 m). Spring is still very productive today. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the well was not only used as a water reservoir, but also to cool milk and butter until the farmers and cottagers could bring these products to the market in Bautzen or later to the dairy.
