This path is part of the "Green Dot" hiking trail, which leads from the Haselbach valley (Häslich) via Niederlichtenau to the Keulenberg. From Niederlichtenau onwards, it is called the Schenk-Magers Trail, as there used to be an inn on the farm there, now the "Altes Melkhaus" restaurant.

We didn't need it today, but in the rain and wind the shelter on the way is a nice shelter, and of course you can always have a wonderful rest here.

The castle pond in the park of the Oberlichtenau baroque castle is a great eye-catcher. The former splendor of an ornamental garden, an orangery, a large baroque pleasure garden with numerous terraces as well as a fountain and sandstone sculptures can still be felt and partly seen after 300 years.
