The old chapel was at a street crossing in 1931. Since their location hindered traffic, a new chapel was built next to the bakery in 1932 and consecrated to St. Michael. In the tower there is a steel bell that was probably cast in 1946 in the Brockscheid / Eifel bell foundry. The church painter Niespor from Zell took care of the acquisition of the statue of St. Michael. In 1974 the chapel was renovated and the Pieta redesigned.
