Super refreshing after the tour, but still extremely cold at the end of March, so you don't stay in the water long :D

This charmingly designed station offers regional honey right along the trail – without a sales stand, simply displayed in a small wooden cabinet. A lovely example of trust and connection to nature along the 5 Valleys Trail. Tip: Be sure to take a jar with you if you have some – the honey is usually locally sourced and tastes twice as good after a hike.

At this interactive station on the 5 Valleys Trail, you can test your knowledge of local bird species. The information panel depicts several typical species – a quick stop is fun and sharpens your eye for what you'll hear chirping along the trail later. Tip: Take a quick photo of the panel and compare it to the pictures you see along the way – you'll often hear the birds before you see them. A small pair of binoculars is a good idea here.

A beautiful little pond with a great fishing hut. There's plenty of parking and great wading opportunities.

According to an inscription above the entrance to the old sacristy, the choir and tower were built in 1474. The following legend is connected to its construction: "The people who made the decision could not agree on the building site. Some were in favor of the place where it stands today, but most were in favor of a different place. The building materials were also brought to these places. The next morning, however, it was in its current place. The opponents believed that it had been secretly dragged there during the night and brought it back. The following morning, to their annoyance, they found the site empty again, because the building materials had moved again. No matter how much the others protested their innocence, they were not believed. The builders dragged everything back again. A few men sat down during the night as guards. Overcome by tiredness, they fell asleep. In their dreams they believed they were flying through the air. Oh, miracle, the building materials were found the next morning, neatly stacked, in the other place. Then they realized that God's will was for this location and the church was built there." It was dedicated to the Holy Trinity. Noteworthy is the sacrament house walled into the Gospel side with its simple iron lattice door. It was used to store and display the Holy Host. The nave of the church dates from 1773 and, like the portal, is Romanesque in style. The wall of the round bell tower is several meters thick and has only a small, narrow gap for light. The tower looks more like the defense tower of a castle than a church tower and stands outside the church on the Epistle side. After several interior renovations, the church was last given a new ambo made of the same stone as the existing altar in December 2003, as well as a baptismal font, for which a separate space was created in the rear area of the church.
