2025: Many detours add a lot of elevation gain. The railway line is undergoing major renovations, and the railway is blocking the trails. I still enjoyed it, but it was considerably more strenuous than expected. Apparently, flooding is more frequent, which is why some short sections of the trail are permanently in poor condition. But the majority of the trail is in top-notch paved condition.
