Solitüde in Flensburg is a picturesque district on the eastern shore of the Flensburg Fjord in the Mürwik district, combining nature, history, and relaxation in a very special way. The name "Solitüde" comes from the French (solitude) and means "solitude" – a term that aptly describes the original atmosphere of the place when Baron Schack von Brockdorff had his secluded country estate built here in the mid-19th century. This naming was granted with royal approval and reflects the secular-romantic longing for seclusion at the time. Today, Solitüde is a popular local recreation area with a fine sandy beach, flat dunes, a bathing area with a jetty, and a protected forest garden nestled among forests and steep cliffs. In summer, the DLRG (German Lifesaving Association) ensures safety, and access is free. Historically, Solitüde came alive as a beach destination in the 1920s: After the First World War and the separation of the northern shore of the fjord by referendum, many Flensburg residents surprisingly turned to the southern shore. This marked the beginning of Solitüde's rise as a popular beach – aided by the enormous dredging of several hundred thousand cubic meters of sand between 1922 and 1923.

On rainy days there are a lot of snails on the paths, so it's quite slippery.

Highly recommended!!! Open charging station with 2x 230V, as well as 1+1 charging connection via cable - but it doesn't fit my Kalkhoff-Bosch 2023. ...shouldn't really be recommended, so it remains an insider tip :-))). Now with a huge summer outdoor terrace - no more plant towers. Very friendly staff, excellent cuisine - not too many dishes on the menu - that guarantees truly cooked meals and not "200 dishes from the microwave/plate." We plan to refuel there every time before we head into the city of FL. Our journey is about 20 km. Have fun, everyone!

In 1997, the Paulsen family implemented the idea of the Porcelain Exchange in a former 80 square meter stable building. High-quality branded porcelain, silver, glass and much more are now offered on 450 square meters. Porcelain from every era and from well-known manufacturers can be purchased at the Porcelain Exchange. Not only the Porcelain Exchange, but also the attached farm café is now known far beyond the region and is a real insider tip for connoisseurs. In addition to the popular rubble cake, there is a changing selection of cakes adapted to the season.
