First mentioned in a document dating back to around 800, the branch church of St. Martin is a primitive-looking plastered brick building from the second half of the 15th century. It houses a remarkable interior, including particularly well-preserved Gothic figures from around 1500. Storks have nested on the gable roof of the church tower for many years.

Absolutely beautiful, right on the Sempt, with several options and opportunities to linger. In the summer it's definitely very nice to go inside. It's worth a visit if you're looking for peace and quiet. Away from the hustle and bustle of the Wiflinger Weiher.

Very funny: now (June 14th) a stork chick is sitting in the nest... It still has grey feathers but is already as big as its parents.

Like a Bavarian postcard: Here you have a beautiful view of the community of Wörth from the path. The church tower in particular catches the eye.

The stork's nest on the church/chapel in Sonnendorf is used and inhabited almost all year round due to the mild weather.
