From the Holstein, there is a beautiful view over the Ulfetal towards the Boyneburg and the Ringgau Plateau. In good weather, you can see the Inselsberg with its tower to the east. The viewpoint is located on the Premiumweg 26 and the Hasenpfad.

The brown hare is one of the forest animals to be discovered on the forest and adventure trail. The brown hare is a mammal from the hare family. The species inhabits open and semi-open landscapes. Due to the strong intensification of agriculture, the brown hare population is declining in many regions of Europe. The German Wildlife Conservation Association declared the brown hare Animal of the Year in 2001 and again in 2015.

On the newly created (not yet certified) premium hiking trail 26, this bench, right on the shady edge of the forest, at the foot of the Bubenrad, offers a nice place to take a break. In May/June you can often find the spotted fingerwort (orchid family) in the surrounding area.
