The last sucker rod pump (beam pump / so-called horsehead pump), the "Bohrung Stockstadt 38", still stands today as an industrial monument in the Kühkopf-Knoblochsaue nature reserve. And nowadays, crude oil is actually being extracted again just a few kilometers away.

The 1.5-kilometer-long apple orchard trail in the Kühkopf-Knoblochsaue nature reserve begins near the Guntershausen estate. The paved path leads past various apple, nut, and pear trees. Illustrated information panels are located in front of the fruit trees. Here, visitors can find information about the name of each apple variety, its origin, uses, and when it is ready for picking. Apple varieties such as the White Matapfel, Ribstone Pepping, Goldrenette Freiherr von Berlepsch, Rheinischer Winterrambur, and Geheimrat Dr. Oldenburg can be found along the trail. Traditionally, there were orchards on the Kühkopf. Fruit auctions were held at the Guntershausen estate. In 1957, 1,300 hundredweight of table and processing fruit were offered. In 1960, the following orchards were recorded: 3,831 apple trees, 61 pear trees, 130 plum trees, 36 walnut trees, and five mirabelle plum trees. Today, the entire nature reserve boasts over 2,000 fruit trees and more than 30 apple varieties. These are carefully maintained, and dead trees are replaced.
