It used to be a restaurant, but unfortunately it is no longer there. The area is absolutely great for cycling, jogging and hiking.

The Muldenbrücke was built in a record construction time of just seven months in 1933/34. The 115 meter long structure is the link between the city's traffic arteries and the important local roads B 107, B 175 and the S 250 south of the Zwickauer Mulde. The construction of the bridge had become necessary because its predecessor proved unsuitable to cope with the steadily increasing volume of traffic on the road side. When selecting the material for the five supporting stone arches, preference was given to the granite quarried in Mittweida. Despite the high costs, the builders at the time from the Saxon Ministry of Finance did not shy away from covering the visible surfaces with local porphyry tuff. In 2010/11 the fundamental renovation of the building took place. The Mulden Bridge also acquired symbolic importance on April 15, 1945. On this day, after dramatic fighting, the advance of the 6th US Armored Division ended here, and with it the Second World War for the Rochlitz population. A bronze plaque commemorates this historic event. Source: https://www.rochlitz.de/wirtschaft-und-tourismus/tourismus/sehenswuerdigungen/bruecken
