The artist chose the horse as the ornament of this fountain in memory of the farmer and wagon driver Gottlieb Grob. In front of his house at Hauptstrasse 55, there once stood a well with a trough where Grob washed his white horse.

Semi-detached winegrowers' houses from the 16th and 17th centuries with a shared covered courtyard entrance, deep cellars, and barns in the courtyard. The barn in the courtyard of Nos. 18/20, demolished in 1989, bore the inscription "The barn is in God's hands. The Lord protected it from fire and fire in 1602 H.S." Each half had a separate staircase, its own cellar, and its own barn at the rear of the courtyard. Further semi-detached houses of this type have been preserved at Hirschstraße 3/3a and Hauptstraße 70.
