In Kellenhusen, you will mostly find a fine-sandy main beach, but the water is often pebbly. For a real, natural stone beach, it is best to hike north towards Klostersee (Kellenhusener Forst). There you will find plenty of stones, flints, and fossils.

Gut Brodau is one of the oldest manor houses in Schleswig-Holstein, built in 1530 by Heinrich Rantzau on an island surrounded by a wide body of water. You reach the estate through a stately gatehouse with a bell tower. The farm complex is dominated by a massive, elongated barn from the mid-16th century. It rests on a base of fieldstones, has arched door and window openings, and is crowned by a small tower with a bell. It is considered the most beautiful agricultural utility building of the Renaissance in Schleswig-Holstein. Source: German Castles Association (Deutsche Burgenvereinigung e.V.)

The cycle path is simply fantastic. Here you cycle between Grömitz and Kellenhusen close to the Baltic Sea and always have wide views of the water.

There is a lot of reed on this side of the shore... if it is not too high, you have a beautiful view over the entire length of Lake Eutin.
