For a bio holiday on the Baltic Sea, Gut Nisdorf is exactly the right place. The historic manor house is located directly on the Baltic Sea-Bodden coast, about 17km northwest of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund. In the evening, deer sometimes walk through the garden. The coastal cycle path starts directly in front of the manor house. In spring and autumn, thousands of cranes fly directly over the manor house. A unique spectacle. Source: https://gut-nisdorf.de/

In the early years, the café was only open sporadically, which is probably how this name came about. This year, it is open daily from April to October from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and usually there is also something for thirsty cyclists shortly before or after. It is open daily, possibly no cake on rainy days, as it is freshly baked here according to home recipes, especially with rhubarb from our own garden. Or a crispy Bochwurst sausage with bread roll or potato salad. And here, everything is even organic. And here there is also a water refill station, where you can get filtered tap water for your own bottle.

The manor house is currently in its slumber. The impression comes from the unused waiting for new owners and is nourished by the huge blackberry hedge, especially visible in picture 5. I deliberately photographed it.

Günz is an old monastery estate of the monastery St. Annen and Brigitten in the nearby Hanseatic city of Stralsund. Here, the estate complex with the so-called "new" manor house, the "old" manor house and outbuildings has been preserved, but the buildings are in a desolate state. The "new" manor house depicted here was built at the end of the 19th century, the old manor house around 1802. The last tenant of the estate, which also included a mill farm, was Ernst Wolfstein. He specialized in sheep farming and maintained a flock of 950 animals. The information comes from https://gutshaeuser.de
