It's always nice to enjoy the rushing water of the Este and the dogs can also play a little in the water.

I assume that the cattle come from a farm about 250 m further west and are temporarily grazing here by the ponds. Incidentally, these are probably Scottish Highland cattle rather than Galloways. Highland cattle have long horns when they are adults, but Galloways don't. These have long horns... They are great animals anyway 🙂.

The rubbish bins (but no benches!) and the possibility to walk around the ponds via small bridges indicate that this is not a resting place but a fishing water.

Shortly before it flows into the Este, the Todtglüsinger Bach passes through some former fish ponds. The rubbish bins (but no benches!) and the possibility of walking around the ponds on small bridges indicate that this is a fishing lake.
