Structure for flood protection in Lippstadt and the surrounding area. Seems out of place here, but hopefully serves its purpose in an emergency.

Small, listed chapel with Stations of the Cross. The inscriptions on the 15 stations relate to the life of Jesus and put the viewer in a relationship with him and the people involved. All Stations of the Cross were donated by families or individuals from Anröchter and Berger. The Stations of the Cross include the Pietà in the Franconian Chapel and the Baroque shrine with the image of the burial of Jesus. The altar in the middle makes it possible for a Eucharist celebration to take place here on certain occasions. Another eye-catcher on the grounds is the large altar made of Anröchter stone. This altar bears the symbols of the cross, the open heart and the open side of Jesus. Wonderfully quiet location with benches for a rest.
