Historic pump at Gelbrink Freshly restored in spring 2026, the historic pump shines like new again. It's supposed to run daily from 1 PM to 6 PM thanks to a timer. However, during my test at 4:30 PM, the pump had apparently already called it a day early and remained dry 😉 It's still worth a look for history fans.

The fountain was built in 1981 by the Osnabrück artist Hans-Gerd Ruwe as part of the expansion of the pedestrian zone. It was designed according to a folk custom in the Löningen area.

I agree... BUT I really don't know why, if you already commented on the long existing highlight on April 18, 2022, you now open a new highlight in the same place 🙄

Stop and look inside. The expanse of space in the church is great.

In the summer there is music on the market square. This time Nabucco will be performed. We can also recommend the ice cream parlour.
