Under the client's direction, Manfred Predl planned and erected the chapel in 2019-2020 by the Salzburg-based company Pongauer Holzbau - Jägerzaun GmbH. The roof tiles were laid by a German company because no local contractor was available. The ground-floor chapel was constructed using pine log construction, an exposed roof truss, and a slate shingle roof. Strict adherence to structural wood preservation and the use of larch wood for the exposed components made it possible to avoid the use of any chemical wood preservatives both indoors and outdoors. The detailed design was developed, planned, and implemented in collaboration with the client. Access to the chapel is possible at any time; it is unlocked daily in the morning. Not only the chapel itself is worth seeing, but also the beautifully landscaped garden area surrounding it.

It is very pleasantly embedded in the quiet landscape - the house of silence and in front of it there is this resting place to pause and recharge your own batteries https://www.haus-der-stille.at/ The House of Silence has been a Franciscan community of women and men in Heiligenkreuz am Waasen in Styria since 1979. It was founded by the Franciscan Father Karl Maderner and supported by the "Haus der Stille" association. There are regular courses focusing on meditation, the Bible, Franciscan spirituality and peace. The community provides shelter for asylum seekers in its buildings. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haus_der_Stille_(Heiligenkreuz_am_Waasen)

This simple summit lies exactly on the district border between Graz and Leibnitz or between the villages of Hausmannstätten and Liebensdorf and is embedded in a beautiful network of hiking trails. But be careful, this summit and the surrounding slopes are also popular with mountain bikers - so please pay attention to each other!

The Gnaning Dorf chapel was built in 1820 to thank the landowner at the time and invites you to rest and linger.

From the Hühnerberg summit cross, short but beautiful and fun single trails lead down. Be sure to immortalize in the book there. :-)

A good traditional inn with regional cuisine. Very good price / performance ratio. An absolute must, if you come to Ortisei. On Sundays it is essential to book a table
