The Aframhof is located in the village of Afram. Originally, there were 3 farms in Afram, all of which were called Aframhof. Today, there are still 2 farms, the Marienhof or upper farm and the Aframhof. The farm was the free property of the Aueram or Averam family, who soon called themselves Afram. With Burchart von Averam and his son Heinrich, the family first appeared in 1136 in the entourage of the sovereign, there as servants of the Lords of Plain, who owned extensive estates in the area. In its core, the building dates back to the 18th century, and it was rebuilt in the 19th century in the Historicist style. So far, no traces of the original medieval farm have been discovered.

Under the client's direction, Manfred Predl planned and erected the chapel in 2019-2020 by the Salzburg-based company Pongauer Holzbau - Jägerzaun GmbH. The roof tiles were laid by a German company because no local contractor was available. The ground-floor chapel was constructed using pine log construction, an exposed roof truss, and a slate shingle roof. Strict adherence to structural wood preservation and the use of larch wood for the exposed components made it possible to avoid the use of any chemical wood preservatives both indoors and outdoors. The detailed design was developed, planned, and implemented in collaboration with the client. Access to the chapel is possible at any time; it is unlocked daily in the morning. Not only the chapel itself is worth seeing, but also the beautifully landscaped garden area surrounding it.

Every year on August 15th, pilgrimages are made from several places in the parish and neighboring parishes to the Klampferkapelle. The first chapel was built in 1894 by the married couple Josef and Maria Haiden. Klampferwagner built. It is believed that a serious illness occurred in the family and after recovery this chapel was built as a thank you.
