A transfer station for the Radkersburg Railway, it often has long waiting times. It's a real shame that the two restaurants are closed and one is in disrepair. At least there are two vending machines in the station, even with coffee! The information boards in the stairwell are very informative and shorten the wait.

Ehrenhausen on the Weinstrasse. The town hall, a gift from the Ehrenhausen estate (Eggenberger/Leslie) to the citizens. Seat of the beneficiary at the time and the former market judge. Seat of the mayor and the municipal administration since 1848. The so-called “Gemeindekotter” (prison) was also housed here until around 1970.

The idyllic town of Ehrenhausen an der Weinstrasse is the perfect starting point for cycling tours to southern Styria. It is also the gateway to the South Styrian Wine Route - here history meets art, culture and wonderful landscapes.

Very modern train station with only one track. Covered seats would be cool. :)
