Driving to Wildschönau for 15 years, we have never seen a campsite there. The Breiteggalm slightly above is definitely worth a visit. Suuuuper nice Almwirt, cool drinks, great snack, we always like to stop by again.

Wonderful view, like Nina I do not recommend the descent via path 12 through the steep gorge.

The entire route is also easily accessible with a stroller. The path is wide and flat, with no potholes or roots.

The ride on the gondola is quite an experience in itself. At the top, you have a beautiful view of the Wilder Kaiser, Hohe Salve, and Wildschönau. Unfortunately, the cabin windows are very scratched. This spoils the view, but it's not the operator's fault, but rather the fault of the users.
