Goldeckhütte is open and offers, among other things, a good Kaiserschmarrn and a great view away from the "big huts"!

We were surprised. The food was very good and reasonably priced, not the inflated prices we'd expect from a mountain station like this. I can only say it's positive. You also get a discount for parking below, so you don't have to pay before parking. The discount is €5, so parking is essentially free. While card payments are possible, they don't always work, so make sure you have plenty of cash with you.
