The war memorial is located in the center of Grafenberg and consists of two construction phases. The central section dates from 1921 and was built to honor the victims of World War I. The two side wings were added in 1957 to commemorate World War II. The memorial was made of Grafenberg granite.

Here you will find a display case with old tools that were needed for the adjacent quarry. Until the beginning of the 20th century, there was a forge here where exactly these kinds of tools were sharpened and honed. The foundations are also still visible. The Meeresauge is a watering hole embedded in a hollow in a steep rock cut. It is fed by a small spring.
