Very nice to drink and possibly eat (Strudel and Jause). The route from Bleiberg is not very steep, except for two passages, one short and a little further. All along, you have a superb view of Dobratsch, the Bleiberg mine and the Gail valley and as always the mountains in the background. At the end, a little before the mountain pasture, you can also see Lake Pressegger.

Simply crossing national borders by bike without being checked, even if it was a war zone tens of years ago, has something to offer. Unfortunately, alpine farming has been closed for a long time.

Nice lunch spot with (when it is open) a hut where you can score good food.

Small alpine village directly on the Carnic Ridge and even on both sides of the Italo-Austrian border. Hungry hikers can also take a break at the Freistitzer Alm and indulge in local delicacies.
