Unfortunately, the fountain was dismantled in 2024 due to the construction of the new main square. Although a new fountain was erected, it cannot compare to the Kilian Fountain, which had long been a prominent feature of the cityscape.

Wolf, Amstetten (city coat of arms) The city of Amstetten has had this coat of arms since 1914: a shield divided from silver over blue. In the upper field, a red wolf, also tongued and armored in gold, jumps out of the dividing line. The lower field is traversed by wavy water. Surrounding the shield is an ornamental bronze-coloured inset, on the main rim of which rests a silver mural crown with five visible battlements.
