The Renaissance castle, originally located in the middle of a huge park, is still overlooked on the east side by the keep of the late medieval fortifications. It was built in 1578 by Hans von Sinzendorf, in 1673 the chapel with a bell tower was built. The Sinzendorf, the Saint Julien, the Kielmannsegg and others owned it as an imperial fief. The originally powerful, irregular, three-storey complex, grouped around two courtyards, with a chapel to St. Barbara, reduced in the 19th century and provided with neo-baroque facades, now belongs to the "Congregation of the School Sisters of the Third Order" and is run as an agricultural business, as well as a A home for the elderly and a hospital are housed in it.
