Popular around Fels am Wagram
The parish church in Fels am Wagram is dedicated to Saint Margaret and stands on a hill at the eastern edge of the village. Its origins date back to the late 16th century; in 1697 it was remodeled in the early Baroque style. After suffering severe structural damage, a large part of the building had to be demolished in 1962, although the chancel and the tower were preserved. A new building was erected in 1963, combining traditional Baroque elements with modern architecture. Inside, among other things, is an important altarpiece of Saint Margaret and the Holy Trinity by the Baroque artist Martin Johann Schmidt. The church belongs to the Hadersdorf deanery in the Archdiocese of Vienna and is also located on the Weinviertel section of the Way of St. James, making it an important stop for pilgrims.

Although the Hammergraben is an "active" cellar lane, which is still used as such, it is also laid out as a "wine and nature trail". Many display boards provide information about the history of viticulture, the construction of the individual cellars, the plants and also about the "buildings" that can be found in vineyards, such as this hut.
