Beautiful place for a sunset! ☀️ When the rays of the evening sun dance on the water of Lake Millstatt, it is time to set off for a leisurely walk to the starry balcony, a place to dream and look. The view sweeps from the Hohe Tauern over the green pastures of the Millstätter Alpe to Lake Millstatt bathed in the evening light.

Downhill on the Star Trail Finally arrived at the Alpengasthof Bergfried, we finally find a sign with the abbreviation T25 for the Star Trail. A few meters below the inn is the star balcony, a viewing platform with a magnificent view of Lake Millstatt. ON THE STAR BALCONY The Star Trail starts right next to it with an impressive steep descent. If you already have difficulties here, you should rather avoid the trail, because the star trail moves on the single trail scale in the S2-S3 range. In order to have fun here, solid mastery of the mountain bike is a prerequisite. As it progresses, the very natural trail keeps showing its teeth. Root carpets as well as longer stone fields always provide variety. But if you are regularly in the S2 area, you shouldn't have any problems with the Star Trail.
