A very small but quite nice gorge. The entrance wasn't easy to find, so it's best to start from Schleedorf.

Beautiful church in Schleedorf, first mentioned in a document in 1379. You have to take a short detour from the Seenland Pilgrimage Trail to get here. But it pays off!

The Roman Catholics Schleedorf Parish Church is dedicated to St. Stephen and stands slightly elevated in the center of the town, surrounded by a cemetery and a wall. In the 17th century the Gothic choir was converted into Baroque style. In a fire on July 13, 1872, the tower and parts of the nave were so badly damaged that a new building was built between 1874 and 1876. The church was rededicated in 1877 and made a parish church in 1891. In the post-war years 1945/1946 a major renovation was carried out. In 1974 the interior of the church was redesigned which gave the parish church its current appearance.

Friends of modern design get their money's worth here. The garden is modern with concrete and steel elements. The herbs smell just as well as in any other herb garden.
