Kienzler Forge: "The hammer mill was operated by the Kienzler family until 1961, who had taken it over in 1885. The forge was used by local farmers until 1963. Today it is owned by the municipality of Kirchzarten. The Kienzler Forge has two undershot waterwheels. Products were manufactured there for local trades as well as for agriculture and forestry. The Black Forest Association now offers regular guided tours." (www.dreisamtal.de)
