Beautiful nature reserve - worth it

The parish church "Our Lady" in the small village "Klein St. Veit" was first mentioned in documents in the year 1136, but a small church probably already stood at this location around 950. Klein St. Veit was first named as an independent parish in 1260. The church building, or rather the nave of the church, dates from 1350 in its current form. In the first half of the 19th century, the building was extended to the west and the church tower was slightly altered. Two things are particularly noteworthy about this church: Firstly, beneath the choir of the church is an ossuary with a central pillar, which probably dates from the Gothic period, and secondly, the bell frame of the church tower still contains an original bell from 1736. Overall, a very, very worthwhile and also very interesting church. Further and more detailed information can be found on Wikipedia at https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pfarrkirche_Klein_St._Veit.

Here stands - unfortunately directly on the not infrequently busy Ossiacher Süduferstraße - in the hamlet of Prägrad, a very beautiful, nice little chapel from 1806 between two large trees. The interior, in which there is a cross with a Herrgott in front of a beautifully painted background in the middle, as well as a depiction of Mary or a blessing Christ on the side walls, is secured by a grille. Despite the somewhat "unfavorable" location, it is a very beautiful and, above all, well-maintained small monument - very worth seeing.
