This heritage-listed site of the Körner sand works is unfortunately rarely open to visitors. At the time, it was the only sand extraction site in the area. There are also two old excavators on the fenced-in grounds.

One of the larger biotopes in the city forest. There are no benches or carved forest sofas here. But there is a sky lounger.

There are several biotopes here in the Sindelfingen Forest. But one of the most beautiful is slightly hidden next to or behind the culturally historic Körner Sand Works.

The Old Town Hall, a charming half-timbered building, dates back to 1540. At that time, the town had about 250 residents, and they must have been quite wealthy to be able to afford such an elaborate town hall. On the first floor, in addition to the mayor's chamber, was the council chamber. The lower, bricked-up area housed the detention cells, a room for the bailiff, and the town's cider press. The small tower was added much later, in 1774. It served as the town hall of Maichingen until 1981. Then, from 1983 to 1985, it was thoroughly renovated and straightened.
