Magnificent panorama and a very beautiful route in the direction of 0berau. From there, one should continue to the Staffelsee, the circuit of which is highly recommended.

I was at the Eibsee a few years ago. I liked it a lot back then. The lake is simply beautiful. Now, now, in August 2026, I had almost a culture shock. The lake is absolutely overrun. Posers everywhere with glued-on eyelashes and suitcases to change dresses in between. Plus, antisocial people who set up a 3x3 meter pavilion and annex this shore area with it all day long. Never again!!!

The pure running time for the almost 7.5 km long circular route around the Eibsee lake is 1.5 to 2 hours. However, you should allow more time to enjoy the magnificent views of the lake and the Alps.
