The Breyeller See The Nette lakes belong to the Schwalm-Nette Nature Park in Niederrhein, near the Dutch border. They are located in the town of Nettetal in the Viersen district. They get their name from the river Nette, in whose valley these artificially dammed and partly enlarged lakes due to peat extraction are located. The "Kleine Breyeller See" (water surface: 5.3 hectares) and the "Große Breyeller See" (9.2 ha). See: https://www.seen.de/breyeller-see/
