Traunhaft beautiful. Bicycle tour from Stade via Apensen to Stade through the lower Estetal. So much beautiful nature and the cycle paths are also manageable, from time to time it gets a bit uneven but it is doable. A short section runs directly along the road. Great resting places are available on the route. E.g. at the fishing water of Horneburg in the lower Estetal. There the place is dedicated to the North German poet: Johann D. Bellmann *08.05.1930 - 25.06.2006

In the center of Estebrügge, known for its blue-white railing, is the swing bridge. The bridge turns 90 degrees to make way for ships. Operated by volunteer bridge operators. The passage height when the bridge is closed is approx. 1.90 m, width 7.20 m. It is a popular destination for cyclists and hikers, often included in routes through the Alte Land. The bridge is an important testimony to the maritime landscape of Unterelbe.
