The beautiful chapel at 758 meters is very popular with pilgrims, and not just on January 20, St. Bastian's Day. Located in the middle of the forest, the extremely well-maintained chapel is a real eye-catcher.

The oil mill gets its name from the fact that oil was actually produced here, for example from rapeseed or flax plants. Farmers from the surrounding area brought their harvest to the oil mill in Bad Waldsee and returned with the pressed oil. Of course, they had to pay the miller a small fee for this. The seeds were ground into pulp in the mill, and a heating process and pressure produced the precious oil. The operation operated from 1820 until the 1950s.
