Beautiful cycle path along the Ammer, a great area

Great area and so much to discover if you walk with open eyes and don't stare at your phone.

As of September 25, 2025: The Graswang Valley is characterized by its mostly easy gravel bike paths. From Unterammergau to Linderhof, the route is effortless. You can take breaks and enjoy the view. The route, however, is mostly unspectacular and runs through the forest. In my opinion, the "nicer" tour is "Around the Trauchberg" (Unterammergau-Altenau-Halblech-Trauchgau and back north).
