Extensively renovated in the 1950s and incorporated into the War Cemetery, the chapel and cemetery are worth seeing.... 2,407 soldiers are laid to rest here.... It's hard to imagine why and for what purpose these men died.... Heroes? Perhaps, some certainly... but I think my father was a hero... he survived... otherwise I wouldn't be here... Remember this when you walk through this cemetery... the men were robbed of their future... leaving behind grief and despair... Never again fascists
