The graffiti in the station tunnel is a youth project by the Social Pedagogical Family and Life Support Service from 2011. It depicts two girls blowing soap bubbles through the tunnel, depicting various, sometimes colorful, motifs from Achim, past and present: e.g., the Uesen Weser Bridge, the Achim Windmill, the Gatehouse, and also motifs from Bremen. https://www.achim.de/portal/seiten/sehenswertes-902000868-20601.html

On the opposite side of the pedestrian zone is the lovingly preserved facade of the bakery founded in 1862 by baker Peter-Heinrich Rieke as "Bäckerei und Confitorei P. Heinrich Rieke." After 1910, the year partner and independent baker Johannes Marschhausen joined the business, the honey cake bakery gradually developed into an industrial enterprise. In 1928, the company headquarters were relocated to the railway. Until its closure in 1978, the company enjoyed widespread recognition beyond Achim's city limits. The Achimer monument to the Bremen Town Musicians in the "Honey Cake Gable" depicts a rooster, dog, and cat above the two lower windows. The donkey was not immortalized here because it sank the robbers' treasure in the fountain. A duck was depicted in its place. https://www.achim.de/portal/seiten/gehenswertes-902000868-20601.html

The well was discovered in 1994 through drilling and excavations and restored through donations. It is said to have been drilled by a tax collector so that his wives wouldn't have to walk such a long way to bleach their laundry. Information board: "Sandstone draw well, 6 m deep, on oak piles, water level 3 m, documented mention in 1789. Located on the old trade route between the dioceses of Bremen and Verden. Given to the town of Achim as a gift on May 20, 1995, by the Lions Club Achim." https://www.achim.de/portal/seiten/sehenswertes-902000868-20601.html
