The Maierhofer Mühle inn closed its doors in 2023. But the historic buildings are always worth a visit. The blacksmith's shop on the property is still in operation, by the way. But it's not a "museum," as I read on another website.

Here you cycle directly along the Lafnitz. The banks are densely overgrown, so you don't always have a view of the river. However, there is a bridge at this point from which you can get a good view of the riverbed with its incredibly clear water.

We were looking forward to the stop, but unfortunately at 1:30 p.m. in the most beautiful weather, we were left without a greeting when we asked for food with a “already ready”. So there was nothing at all, no coffee or cake, too bad.
