If you're coming from the Tappeiner Weg trail from the Pulverturm tower to the Saxifrage restaurant in the old town of Merano, you can easily descend in a series of switchbacks. You'll exit at the Sissi restaurant near the chairlift to Tirolo village. Beforehand, you can also descend via the herb garden and exit at the parish church. However, there are steep old stone steps. Or you can also continue from the Saxifraga restaurant via the stairs and path.
