Jackson Beach is a beautiful beach that is an ideal place for a picnic or beach combing, and it is just 2 miles from the ferry landing. On the inland side of the beach is the Argyle Lagoon Biological Preserve. This is a 14-acre property that includes all of the Argyle Lagoon tidelands, which are closed to the taking of fish and shellfish.
