I agree with all the comments, excellent hospitality. Now(march 2026)you can even stay in a simple room for a small fee. The food ,despite being fresh and tasty,is quite expensive,so ask before ordering.

Nectaria and Niko and amazing hosts, they immediately proposed us to pitch the tent in their garden for free. Nectaria can cook you some delicious fresh food with the organic products of her garden! It's a stop you cannot miss if you pass by the area

Café-Restaurant with super friendly owners (Nikos and Nektaria). They'll let you put your tent in the garden and have a shower if you order food. The later is all bio+homemade and just excellent. Overall really great value for money. An absolute must if you are in the area (typically following the Eurovelo 8).

"Killer stretch" is perhaps a bit of an exaggeration and irony, but you do need a good gear ratio if you're pedalling up here with your 25 kg bike and camping gear. I'd estimate a good 16%... But there's not much traffic, some shade and a wonderful view.
