July 6, 2026, Ascent to Kanzelwand

Caution! The via ferrata is marked B/C and supposedly suitable for beginners. I find this almost negligent, as it definitely has more C than B sections, including overhangs. It is not visible from the start and much longer than expected (even if it is not very long overall), which definitely makes self-assessment difficult. Almost everyone who has climbed it, including myself, found it harder than expected.

October 13, 2025, Fellhorn Ridge Hike

Simply a fantastic hike! Since I'm not afraid of heights, I was skeptical, but I had no problems! Two sections after the Fellhorn summit were secured with ropes, but they weren't dangerous. In dry conditions and with good footwear, I highly recommend it!

A well-maintained ridge hiking trail with stunning views of the Kleinwalsertal and Illertal valleys. The trail is also suitable for children and large dogs. Sturdy footwear is recommended, especially in wet weather.
