The Leprosy House is a hospice for lepers that was first mentioned in documents in 1355 and is now a monument of social and medical history in the spa town of Bad Wurzach in Upper Swabia. Attached to the Leprosy House is the Leprosy Chapel, which served as a place of worship for the Protestant parish from 1871 to 1959. It is the birthplace of the painter Sepp Mahler. Some of the rooms are now the Sepp Mahler Museum in the Leprosy House. The ensemble with herb garden is located on the western edge of the town at the foot of the Leprosy Hill.
