St. Anthony's Chapel, a protected monument by Royal Decree of November 13, 2001. Located in the center of the triangular square at Rodendries and St. Anna (Hamme), on an elongated plot partially bordered by trees and low plantings with hedges. Founded in 1628 by Philips van der Haeghen, Lord of Roden, and his wife Maria de Neve in gratitude for the healing of their daughter Barbara-Francisca. Originally built as a votive chapel dedicated to St. Anthony, abbot and hermit, the place of worship evolved into a place of pilgrimage for this saint. (Waasmunster Tourism)

The Chapel of St. Joseph was built in 1709 by order of Catharina de Clercq (1671-1743) on land owned by her father, fulfilling her mother's last wish. The devotion to St. Joseph stemmed from devotion and gratitude for the blessings received through his intercession. According to a document from 1719, the chapel was equipped with a "joeliealthaerken met sijn sculpterijje..." (Inventory of Immovable Heritage)

"Roosenberg" refers to the abbey that has since been abandoned by the Sisters of Franciscus, a design by Dom Hans Van der Laan, which Waasmunster is rightly so proud of. Here you walk a long way on the Durmedijk.

Among the people of Waasmunster, these allotments are known as "'t Werk van den Akker", the old, established name (but no longer the official name since 2004) for Tuinhier, the non-profit organisation that aims to stimulate and shape amateur gardening in Flanders.

High on the south facade of the tower, a sundial can be seen. This was certainly the case at the end of the 19th century. During the restoration of the church in the 1990s, the original was replaced by a worthless copy (as we read in Astrolemma, the inventory of 218 sundials in East Flanders). In 2000, on the occasion of Open Monument Day, this copy was completely restored.
