It is a beautiful area, but walking around with a dog is no longer possible. Part of it is closed because of horses that walk there.

Wide views over the IJsselmeer. Given the prevailing wind direction, and the fact that it is always windy here, it is advisable to walk from south to north.

I've been coming here every day for years. You can walk nice routes here. Lots of water. If you want to let the dog swim, be careful. In many places sharp pieces of wood protrude from the water (or under water). The dog can seriously injure itself from this. There is a special dog beach. Even for real avid hikers, you can connect the routes to, for example, the Bergbos, horse forest and much further.

Find it higher! Climb up and take a rest during the walk on this bench on the hill. Because you are a bit higher, you witness a beautiful view of the surroundings of the Piston Lake.
