The Achterdiecksee is a small bathing lake surrounded by trees. Enough beach, shade when there is too much sun, and enough open space for sun worshippers. Everything available!

In fact, the lake is very clean. The demarcation for children is also very good. Unfortunately, a lot of rubbish is often left behind by the visitors! As everywhere, due to a lack of members, the monitoring by the DLRG can only be carried out to a very limited extent. For me it's paradise in the summer, because I swim in it every day and there's not much going on during the week. As a result, many animals can be observed: ducks, gulls, some cormorants, and swans have already been seen. One likes to be grateful and humble for so much nature!
