This of course shows a piece of Friesland's history. They are all images of people who once completed the Elfstedentocht. One side of the bridge is still grey in case there is ever a new tour. I fear that it will remain grey for a long time.

My husband and I visited the AquaZoo in Leeuwarden in Friesland in the Netherlands during our camping holiday at the RCN de Potten in Sneek. Unfortunately, our little dog Bronco was not allowed to come with us because dogs are not allowed in this zoo. But Bronco made himself comfortable in our caravan. My husband and I had a lot of fun and enjoyed our visit to the AquaZoo Leeuwarden. If you are ever in the Leeuwarden area and like zoos, you should go there - it is really worth it!
